La fotografia riveste un ruolo importante nel mio lavoro. Il mio approccio alla fotografia è stato puramente casuale poichè mi sono avvicinato a questo mezzo soltanto perchè avevo l'esigenza pratica di fissare delle pose dei modelli per realizzare i miei quadri; cosa che per altro faccio tuttora.
Il mio modo di fare fotografia non è quello del fotografo tradizionale ma di un pittore che utilizza la fotocamera come un terzo occhio con il quale fissare nell'inquadratura i soggetti per realizzare le proprie opere e la messa in scena del suo progetto. La fotografia riveste per me quindi prima di tutto un'importanza a livello progettuale
Essa mi ha permesso una regia, la messa in scena di situazioni che appaiono reali; un'idea, una storia, una performance, un avvenimento ideato mettendo in scena i modelli, siano essi corpi estranei o il mio stesso corpo negli autoritratti.La mia passione per questo mezzo espressivo mi ha portato a realizzare immagini definite dal punto di vista tecnico con un occhio particolare rivolto al lavoro di alcuni maestri del bianco e nero che hanno lavorato sul corpo nudo che è il mio campo principale di indagine.Per questa ragione restano le fotografie da me scattate sono opere già finite in sè, anche se alcuni scatti sono stati poi utilizzati per realizzare quadri o lavori grafici; altre volte ho realizzato dei lavori utilizzando soltanto il mezzo fotografico che mi permetteva di illustrare un'idea in maniera più chiara e diretta rispetto al mezzo pittorico. Questa sezione contiene un sunto di alcuni miei lavori fotografici: scatti, serie di fotografie, composizioni polimateriche e piccole installazioni.

The photography plays an important role in my work. My approach towards photography is purely inadvertent; I became close to it only because I needed to ensure the models were positioned well for my paintings; something I still continue to do until today.
The way I take photographs it is not in a traditional way which an artist - a painter, that uses the camera as a third eye which I fix the objects with a shot, in order to create later the true works of art and the settings of the project.
Therefore, photography has, first of all, importance on a planning level. This has given me a direction, scenes and settings of situations that appear real; an idea, history, performance, a conceived event by putting the models in the picture, these being exthernal bodies or my own self-portraits.
My passion for this way of expression has brought me to realize my final images from a techical point of view, a particular vision oriented towards the works of some black and white artists who have created some of their works on naked bodies, which is my main area of investigation.
For this purpose the photos I have taken still remain, and in their original form, even though some of them I have taken for my paintings and graphics; other times I have used only the actual photographs which allowed me to illustrate an idea in a clearer and more direct way, with respect to the paintings. This section contains a summary of some of my pfotographic work: pictures, series of photographs, diverse compositions, and small installations.
